A tour of the AirBorn Electronics Workshop

Prototypes being debugged - what an electronic workshop really looks like!!

(Actually, we've moved to larger premises since these photos were taken, but the photos are still pretty realistic)

An energy management/recording product being design tested

Close up of the energy management product

The Famous wet string experiment - bidirectional serial COMs between two PC's down a length of string - with the special circuit it works well... as long as the string stays wet! See - Wet String circuit diagram

Another view of the wet string experiment - who says it's all work and no play!

Coal face measurement product software being modified/tested on a mockup - The A-frame shaped unit is under test, the remainder is test equipment

Building control system software being modified/tested on a testbed unit

An air conditioning controller undergoing high-voltage spike immunity testing - the equipment to the right delivers a 5000v transient to the power supply of the equipment on the left, while the controller is monitored to see that it keeps operating correctly

Close up of the air conditioning controller undergoing temperature drift tests

A robot with personality - not our creation and not in our workshops ... but we did write the high speed COMs software that operates his sensors & servos, giving him fluid movement
